(1) Acceptance Clause
By clicking ‘accept’ you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. In addition, when using the services of the Hub, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to its functions and services.
(2) Privacy Policy

(3) Use of the Website
All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.
The Hub website hosts publications and events organized in forums, called bonfires, as well as a dashboard for making connections between users, topics and organisations. Both are equipped with commenting opportunities. While we invite you to share your opinions, information about your projects and questions in this way, they must not be used to distribute spam messages or spread links to malicious or dangerous websites. We define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, posts that contain sexual or other obscenity or violence, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Additionally, any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexist, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on the Hub’s forums.
Content must be in line with fundamental values as outlined in the UN Universal Declaration, Article 2 of the European Union Treaty, and the Sustainable Development Goals. This includes pictures and videos.
We do retain the right to moderate any comment or written content submitted to the Hub website and to remove any content we deem to have violated our policies.
(3.1) No Disinformation
The Hub is an evidence-based platform Knowingly and intentionally posting false or misleading information will result in removal.
(3.2) Affiliation
Please state your affiliation with organizations, movements, clubs, and all other kinds of actors. This is not mandatory but helps other users to place you better and make for a better experience on the HUB. If your account is attached to an organization, the organization's admin may remove your affiliation on the HUB at any time. If you believe the person in charge of administering an organization on the HUB should be changed please let us know via email at EUHub@ecas.org
(3.3) Safety and Security of the Hub and its Users
Any conduct by Hub users that puts at risk or harms the Hub, its infrastructure, staff or well-being of its users will not be tolerated and will result in removal, and further civil and criminal legal action where relevant.
(4) Copyright and Intellectual Property
Do not post content that is not your intellectual property, as though it was your own. Please do not publish photos that are not your own or for which you did not obtain the copyright.
The site itself and all of its original content are the sole property of the European Hub for Civic Engagement and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws.
(5) Liability
The Hub and its organising and operating team is not liable for any content posted on the Hub. We will work diligently to keep the Hub as safe as possible, but users are responsible and liable for their conduct on the platform. Users are advised not to post information on the platform that may put them at risk.
(6) Termination
The European Hub for Civic Engagement reserves the right to temporarily or permanently terminate your access to the site, without any advance notice.
